The deadline of application is January 15 of each year. International students are encouraged to submit the application as soon as possible as the applications generally takes more time for University of Toronto to process. Find Important Application dates here.
Depending on the specific program, different prerequisite courses or preferable courses are applied. For example, Rotman Commerce prefers students have taken business-related courses in high school. Find out about academic requirements for applicants from outside Canada here.
Most programs do not require addition applications or profile. However, some programs, colleges, and campuses may ask you to fill out additional application. You will receive an email if you are required to do so.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
If you are a current Ontario high school student, you need to make the application through OUAC 101.
If you are an international student or an applicant from another Canadian province or territory, you need to make the application through OUAC 105.
GRADUATE STUDIES
If you are applying for a master’s degree, you need to make on online admissions application for the School of Graduate Studies.
U of T accept a variety of English language proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, MELAB and so on. You can find what tests are accepted and their requirements here.

You will receive a confirmation email from U of T about 14 business days after the submission of application.
As an exchange student from Paris, I’ve spent four months at the U of T. The classmates were more aggressive and punctual. The centre for International Experience organized several orientation events to help us better engage with peers and professors. The location is incroyable! I could easily explore the city and hang out with new friends. But sometimes I had to attend a class with 600 people, seriously? One tip for future students – come here during the fall term. It was too cold in January.
The campus is in downtown which gives you a lot of opportunities. The professors are really nice and handful. But the tuition fees are way too high, especially for international students.
It is a large university with a wide diversity of disciplines and activities. However, it is not the right or the best university for every student.
