The University of King’s College is a small liberal arts university located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. King’s offers nationally and internationally recognized interdisciplinary programs in the liberal arts and journalism. With just over 1,000 students, King’s provides small class sizes and an intimate learning environment. Life outside the classroom includes over sixty student societies and a vibrant campus life that embraces music, theatre, sports and dance.

King’s shares the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences and Music with Dalhousie University. That means students can study any program between both schools that fall under those faculties. Dalhousie has over 19,000 students and is one of the top research-based schools in Canada. Therefore, King’s students have the advantage of studying in a close-knit learning environment at King’s and the experience of going to a larger school like Dalhousie.
