5.0/51 Reviews

A dynamic and progressive university, Laurentian University offers more than 175 undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral programs. Our flexible degree structure means you can customize your major and minor studies to create a “modular degree” that’s unique to your strengths and interests.

Laurentian has one of the best faculty-student ratios you’ll find anywhere, and programs you won’t find elsewhere – like the only accredited Forensic Science program outside the U.S., and the BComm in Sports Administration. Interested in space exploration? Members of our first graduating class in Mechanical Engineering are the 2011 world champions in the NASA Lunabotics competition.

Good mining engineering program!
5.0

Laurentian University was once a regional school serving Sudbury, and while it still serves the area well, it has grown into an international leader in niches such as stressed watershed systems, rural and northern children’s health, particle astrophysics, as well as mining, engineering and environmental remediation.
