SchoolFit turns teachers into students for a day! As part of a continuing education program, over 200 graduates of the University of Toronto Teachers College were in attendance for this special SchoolFit Edutainment performance which took place this summer at Michael Power/ St.Joseph Secondary School in Toronto.

Watch this video for some highlights:

George Kourtis, event organizer and TDSB Phys-Ed Curriculum Head, reached out to SchoolFit in hopes that we could put together an educational seminar which would educate teachers on how to engage students while getting them fit! We did exactly that, demonstrating several modern techniques that are now accessible to teachers through our unique program. Our SchoolFit Edutainment Team, including Q Mack and Jack In The Box, performed a variety of professional skills that engage students and help to build self-confidence.

Their school show is rated as the best in Canada, and is a great time for both students and teachers alike. Also featured during this seminar was the Post-Up Hang Training System, with a professional demonstration provided by Hangtime Fitness. Several of the 200 teachers in attendance volunteered to participate in the Hang Training workout, and all were enthusiastic about the effectiveness of this unique form of group exercise. This event truly demonstrated the fun and educational aspects of our program!
